Jude and Ludger are talking a bit about finding your calling in life, and while Jude is explaining that he wouldn't have found his if not for an important person(Millacough), he gets a call from one of his research team. She's having a little trouble dealing with a businessman who decided to invest in the Origin research, so Jude heads over and we're given a choice between "I'll go with you" and "Will you be alright?". The first raises Jude's affection.
Off we go to Helioborg again orz
The man is trying to get a higher price off one of the Spirit fossils he sells to the facility--Spirit fossils are necessary in order to make new Origin Spirits. Jude asks why he thinks he should, and the guy replies that it's because the fossil is of a Greater Spirit, Celsius to be exact. Jude calls him out immediately on his lie, as Celsius' fossil went down with Arc Noah's flagship last game, and should be at the bottom of the sea. The man is stunned for a moment before laughing, saying he shouldn't have thought of Jude as just a stupid and eager kid. He makes to leave, and the assistant tries to hand him his fossil, but he snaps not to bother. It's probably useless, and nothing will likely come out of Origin research in the end anyway; he just hopped on board so he could make some money off the Spirit fossils his company dug up.
Jude tells the girl not to get discouraged, and informs Ludger and her both that he won't be swayed by dissenting opinions, that he will continue to walk the path he chose with pride, just like "her". (Milla >.>)
