Cutscene where Ivar shows up, apparently to help deal with this on behalf of Clanspia, and tries to pawn off his pair of guns on Ludger.

We see why when, as he's explaining how cool they are yet not cool enough for him, he accidentally shoots them off.

He then hands them to Ludger-- barrel first I might add, so Ludger is understandably cautiously backing away to avoid being shot in the foot or balls. Now Ludger can weapon shift in battle from dual swords to dual pistols /o/ And naturally, everything is weak to shot in here to make sure we learn how to use the guns.
